A "hanif" is a primitive Abrahamic pietist and religious pluralist. See also Qur'an 2:285.

Muslim supersessionism (like Christian supersessionism) has effected a hermeneutical transformation of the scripture into a sectarian text.

"Hanifism" is a return to the heritage of Ibrahim, hanifan, musliman. It returns the Qur'an to the family of Abraham.
